Job summary

Caliber Brands is hiring a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 3 years of FP&A experience to join its Dubai finance team. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel modelling skills, familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI, and be able to partner with Sales and Operations to drive profitability and efficiency across units in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting or management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L statements and dashboards; analyze profitability by divisions, brands and channels.
• Develop financial models to evaluate performance and growth opportunities.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, financial modelling expertise, and the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers.

Management Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L statements, and management dashboards.
• Analyse profitability across business divisions, products, brands, and sales channels.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Financial Analysis & Business Performance

• Analyse revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and growth opportunities.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
• Support pricing decisions, cost optimisation, and margin improvement initiatives.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to evaluate financial performance.
• Support management in strategic planning and commercial decision-support.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, or management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Trading, Retail, or Distribution industries.
• Prior UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
• Candidates currently based in India and willing to relocate to Dubai may also apply.
