Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a finance professional to oversee daily operations including AP/AR, reconciliations, and entries. You will prepare comprehensive financial reports and ensure statutory compliance, tax filings, and audits support.

The role focuses on data analysis, cost-saving opportunities, and improving accounting systems for accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle or iScala and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hotel finance experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Manage AP/AR, Cash and bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure statutory compliance, handle tax filings, and support internal/external audits.
• Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support management decisions.
• Systems & Processes: Implement and maintain accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
