Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualifications preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience as Director of Finance, Head of Finance or Financial Controller in hospitality/multi-site business.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function with accurate reporting across entities and restaurants.
• Oversee accounting, month-end/year-end closing, statutory reporting and audits.
• Lead annual budgeting and FP&A in collaboration with the team.
• Monitor profitability, costs and KPIs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital and liquidity management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and internal policies.
• Establish robust controls, approvals and risk management practices.
• Support new openings, investment appraisals and financial modelling.
• Partner with Operations to improve margins and performance.
• Lead and develop the Finance team and improve reporting systems.

Position Overview

Paris Society Middle East is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Director of Finance to lead the finance function across its restaurant portfolio. The role will ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, effective cash flow management and sustainable business performance, while supporting the company's development and expansion.

Acting as a key business partner to senior management and Operations, the Director of Finance will provide strategic financial guidance, strengthen internal controls and drive profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all relevant entities and restaurants.
• Oversee accounting, month-end and year-end closing, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial planning and forecasting in collaboration with the FP&A team.
• Monitor financial performance, restaurant profitability, operating costs and key business indicators, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital and liquidity management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, approval procedures and risk management practices.
• Support new restaurant openings, investment appraisals and business development through financial modelling and commercial analysis.
• Partner with Operations and senior management to improve margins, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
• Lead, develop and structure the Finance team while continuously improving reporting processes and financial systems.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; ACCA, CPA, ACA or CIMA qualification preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Previous experience as a Director of Finance, Head of Finance or Financial Controller within hospitality, restaurants, F&B or a multi-site business strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen, analytical skills and the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• UAE or GCC experience is strongly preferred.
