Overview

We are seeking a highly competent and commercially astute Finance Controller to take full ownership of the financial oversight, reporting, and controls across three strategic business verticals: coffee retail, roasting operations, and international trading.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of financial oversight, reporting, and internal controls across three strategic business verticals: coffee retail, roasting operations, and international trading.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory)
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is required
  • Master’s degree in Finance or MBA is an added advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role
  • Proven track record in managing finance for multi-entity or multi segment businesses • Experience in F&B, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors (coffee/roastery experience preferred)
  • Hands-on exposure to regulatory, compliance, and tax frameworks (local and international, where applicable)
Technical & Functional Competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, and internal controls
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and working capital management
  • Strong understanding of inventory, production costing, and trading financial cycles
  • Ability to develop and implement financial systems, KPIs, and reporting dashboards
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
Commercial & Strategic Acumen
  • Ability to evaluate and support commercial decision-making across retail pricing, product margin analysis, and trade deals
  • Strong grasp of cash flow dynamics and capital expenditure management
  • Strategic mindset to partner with business heads for performance improvement and growth planning
