Job summary

American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) seeks a senior accounting professional to support consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities. You will ensure timely, accurate financial information for management decisions and drive ERP-enabled finance processes across Oracle and Banner.

The role requires leadership in process improvements, dashboards, and system controls within the ERP environment, with 4+ years of experience in a large organization and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting in a large organization.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely availability of financial information for management and decision-making.
• Support ERP-enabled finance processes, including Oracle and Banner implementations/adoptions.
• Contribute to process improvements, system controls, workflow enhancements and standardization within ERP environment.
• Develop, maintain and utilize financial dashboards, reports and analytical tools for management reporting and performance monitoring.
• Monitor financial data and transactions across relevant systems and coordinate timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support budgetary controls, expenditure monitoring, forecasting and analysis against approved plans.
• Provide Finance-related support for system changes, testing, reporting requirements, data validation and user requirements.
