TRI Consulting is a leading regional management consultancy focused on hospitality and mixed-use developments. We seek a dynamic Financial Consultant to join our team and develop advanced Excel models for P&L, cash flow, and IRR analysis.

The role involves assessing hotel financial statements, market research, and preparing client reports. You will benchmark projections, communicate findings in writing and presentations, and travel across the MENA region to interact with clients and industry

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in hospitality/tourism operations, development, or consulting.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and Excel skills.
• Good understanding of hotel operations, financial statements, investment appraisal, IRR, NPV, payback period, and other key financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models including P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, depreciation, IRR, NPV, and payback period.
• Analyse hotel financial statements and assess operational and financial performance.
• Research and analyse market, operational, and financial data through desk research and field visits.
• Benchmark project assumptions against databases, market research, and industry performance.
• Prepare sections and portions of client reports.
• Promote the value and benefits of HotStats to clients, hoteliers, and industry professionals.
• Present financial findings and recommendations clearly in reports and presentations.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Financial Consultant to join our team.

Role Description

• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models, including projections for profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheet, depreciation, IRR, NPV, payback period, and other key financial performance indicators.
• Analyse hotel financial statements and assess operational and financial performance.
• Research and analyse market, operational, and financial data through desk research and field visits.
• Benchmark project assumptions and projections against proprietary databases, market research, and industry performance.
• Prepare individual sections and substantial portions of client reports.
• Promote the value and benefits of HotStats to clients, hoteliers, and industry professionals.
• Present and communicate financial findings and recommendations clearly in written reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in hospitality/tourism operations, development, or consulting, preferably within a similar organisation.
• Strong financial modelling, accounting, forecasting, and Excel skills.
• Good understanding of hotel operations, financial statements, investment appraisal, IRR, NPV, payback period, and other key financial metrics.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region.
