Job summary

DNV in Dubai invites applications for a Finance Trainee to join its structured rotational programme across Maritime, Energy Systems and GSS Finance. The role provides broad exposure to financial processes, business partnering, reporting and systems, fostering a strong foundation in finance.

You will work with cross-functional teams, learn practical accounting and financial controls, and develop stakeholder-management skills in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Recent graduate or early-career candidate seeking a career in Finance.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance activities across the assigned department.
• Assist invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records per DNV policies and procedures.
• Support preparation of financial reports, analysis and management information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audits by providing relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders across Finance.
