Job summary

DNV Emirati Development Programme (EDP) in the UAE offers fresh graduates the chance to work on offshore structures and ship design under mentorship. You will support engineering analyses, calculations, and reporting while developing practical expertise in multidisciplinary teams.

The 12-month structured graduate programme provides exposure to technical and corporate functions, with cross-functional rotations and hands-on field experience to foster a safer, smarter and more sustainable future.

Qualifications

• UAE Nationals with Family Book.
• Fresh graduates or 0–2 years of experience with a bachelor’s in engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Assist senior engineers in conducting technical analyses and preparing calculations.
• Support development of engineering reports and design documentation per project requirements.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to offshore structures and marine systems using software tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical analyses and engineering calculations for offshore structures and marine systems.
• Prepare engineering reports, design documentation, and technical deliverables per project requirements.
• Apply fundamentals of strength of materials, structural stability, hydrodynamics, and FEA.
• Utilize engineering software tools for modeling, analysis, and verification in offshore/ship design.
• Prepare technical presentations and data summaries to communicate engineering findings.

Provide engineering support to project teams by assisting with technical analyses, documentation, and reporting activities while developing practical expertise in offshore structures and ship design. This role contributes to project delivery through the application of fundamental engineering principles, use of engineering software tools, and effective collaboration with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

• Assist senior engineers in conducting technical analyses and preparing engineering calculations for offshore structures and marine systems.
• Support the development of engineering reports, design documentation, and technical deliverables in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Apply fundamental engineering principles, including strength of materials, structural stability, hydrodynamics, and finite element analysis (FEA), to support design and assessment activities.
• Utilize engineering software tools to perform modeling, analysis, and verification tasks for offshore and ship design projects.
• Prepare technical presentations, data summaries, and project documentation using Microsoft Office applications, improving communication of engineering findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Assist in reviewing design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project objectives.
• Contributed to offshore structure and vessel design studies by analyzing structural performance, loading conditions, and operational requirements.
• Maintained organized project records and documentation, supporting efficient project tracking and knowledge management.
