Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in manufacturing finance, IFRS knowledge, and proficiency with SAP Business One, Tagetik, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience within manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP Business One, Tagetik and Power BI is advantageous.

Job Description

The Finance Specialist will have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating financial planning, analysis, operational finance, and business control activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare management reports, executive dashboards, and KPI analysis for senior leadership.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage product costing, manufacturing finance, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Oversee inventory valuation, working capital management, and inventory control processes.
• Evaluate capital investment proposals using ROI, NPV, and payback analysis.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate accounting policies, and internal financial controls.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen financial governance and risk management.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Engineering, Quality, and HR to support business decisions.
• Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments for strategic initiatives.
• Drive finance process improvements through ERP optimization, automation, and Power BI reporting.
• Develop and maintain finance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and master data governance.
• Mentor junior finance team members and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience of progressive finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP Business One, Tagetik and Power BI is advantageous.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
