Job summary

Lockton in the United Arab Emirates seeks an accounts professional to support day-to-day operations in the accounts department for Non IBA functions. Responsibilities include ledger maintenance, payment runs, expense coding, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.

You will assist auditors and tax filing, ensure accurate expenses and timely supplier payments, and contribute to month-end closings and budgeting processes while collaborating with regional entities.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers, and associates.
• Proficient with Lockton computer systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Understanding of cash collection processes and financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing files for auditors.
• Assist in filing tax returns for all entities.
• Reconcile tax-related files for audit purposes.
• Handle accounts activities including expense coding and supplier payment runs.
• Verify expenses before approvals and ensure timely payments.
• Process urgent payments via bank portal.
• Monthly staff expense reimbursements processing.
• Balance sheet reconciliations responsibility.
• Assist in posting journals and month-end closings.
• Prepare monthly P&L and budget variance analysis.
• Prepare cash flow reports and support budgeting/forecasting.
