Job summary

Kingsgate Hotel Clocktower is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant in Dubai to lead the finance department. The role focuses on IFRS compliance, regulatory adherence, and strategic financial management for a premier hotel environment.

You will oversee all accounting functions, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA/CPA/CMA/CA certifications are a strong advantage
• 5–8 years accounting experience including 2+ years in supervision or management

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial management functions for the hotel
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
• Ensure IFRS compliance, UAE tax regulations, and internal policies
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets and general ledger
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and cash flow
• Develop budgets and forecasts with variance analysis
• Provide financial insights to support executive decisions
• Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate inventory and asset accounting
• Lead and develop the accounting team to maintain high performance
