Job summary

Mackenzie Jones Middle East is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and financial controls in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the monthly close and provide insights to support strategic decisions, ensuring IFRS and UAE regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong IFRS/UAE tax knowledge, senior stakeholder management, and ERP/Excel proficiency to strengthen controls and drive automation initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
• Experience in audit and/or large corporate environments.
• Experience in project-based, marine, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close and management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis).
• Oversee statutory reporting, external audits, and IFRS/UAE regulatory compliance.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliations and controls.
• Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and liaise with external advisors.
• Strengthen financial controls and drive ERP/automation initiatives.
• Partner with senior management to provide clear financial insights for decisions.
