Job summary

Hire Rightt in Dubai seeks a seasoned finance leader to oversee the contracting division's end-to-end financial management, focusing on profitability, cash flow, cost control, and reporting. You will partner with Project, Operations, and Commercial teams to protect margins and mitigate risks.

Requirements include ICAI CA qualification and 10–15 years in construction finance, with hands-on experience in project budgeting, billing, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• CA/ICAI qualification required.
• 10–15 years of finance experience in construction contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong project finance, cost control, cash flow, and margin management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts; FIDIC preferred.
• Experience managing multiple live projects in a mid-sized contractor.
• Middle East contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial performance of multiple live contracting projects.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, cost-to-complete, WIP, accruals, and project profitability.
• Drive timely billing, certifications, collections, retention recovery, and clearance of uncertified work.
• Manage project cash flow forecasts and identify funding requirements.
• Support variations, claims, contract reviews, settlements, and commercial negotiations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, tender financial reviews, and project reporting.
• Identify financial and commercial risks and implement controls.
• Lead a lean finance team and provide financial insights to senior management.

Job Purpose:

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
