Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline invites UAE Nationals for an Intern Finance Associate role to support financial accounting and distributor activity across Gulf markets. You will participate in month-end close, accounting records, and financial controls while engaging with internal stakeholders and distributors.

The position requires an undergraduate degree in finance/accounting, strong Excel skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

UAE National with family book.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support month-end close activities, including accrual journals and financial reporting.
Assist in maintaining financial records and entity accounts in line with GSK policies.
Provide support for distributor accounting across Gulf markets.
Coordinate purchase-to-pay activities, including vendor creation.
Review employee expense claims and supporting documentation.
Support purchase order management and three-way matching.
Assist with review of distributor debit notes and supplier payments.
Prepare and reconcile distributor account statements.
Help resolve outstanding financial queries with distributors.
Monitor payment collections and clear aging balances.
