Job summary

Antal International L.L.C-FZ is seeking a proactive Accountant to support finance operations in the UAE. The role covers AR, AP, GL, and treasury, with a focus on accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience in FMCG, distribution, or multinational settings, and strong Excel and ERP skills to drive efficient closing and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in FMCG/distribution/trading or multinational environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, and treasury processes.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Oracle or similar).
• Advanced Excel with Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and support month-end closing.
• Excellent communication with finance, procurement, logistics and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, GL and treasury.
• Review, verify and process supplier invoices per policy.
• Prepare AR and AP reports including aging analysis.
• Coordinate vendor payments and payment schedules.
• Follow up with customers to support timely collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support VAT reconciliations and filing requirements.
• Post journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Assist month-end and period-end closing.
• Manage Cash Against Documents (CAD) for UAE and SA entities.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support audits, finance projects, and process improvements.
