Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable specialist to support a team of eight in a dynamic hospitality environment in Dubai. You will process receipts, reconcile customer accounts, and collaborate with Treasury to ensure accurate, timely information while maintaining robust controls.

Qualified candidates have a Chartered Accounting credential, 5+ years AR experience, strong Excel, and ERP familiarity with Microsoft AX Dynamics and CRM.

Qualifications

• Charted Accounting qualification is required.
• AR accounting experience of at least 5 years.
• Excel skills and ERP experience with AX Dynamics & CRM are essential.
• Real Estate property development exposure in GCC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and ensure accurate accounts receivable receipts in a timely manner.
• Maintain communications with Treasury and pass accurate information.
• Meet deadlines and perform duties professionally.
• Weekly/monthly AR reconciliations of customer accounts.
• Monitor satellite office balances and ensure cost control.
• Collaborate with divisions and heads of departments on controls and reporting.
• Utilize AX Dynamics ERP and CRM for system controls and reporting.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed.
• Respond to internal client inquiries and maintain AR records.

Job Description

This role requires excellent receivables accounting experience to support a team of 8 members in a large variety of tasks.

• Ensure all accurate receipts are received and processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Continuous communication with Treasury and ensures correct information is passed and received
• Ensuring deadlines are always met as well as the completion of all duties and responsibility in a professional manner
• Reconciliation of Accounts receivable on a weekly/monthly basis
• Reconciliation of customer accounts to identify inconsistencies
• Monitoring of the satellite office balances
• Collaborating with key divisions, cost accountants and Head of Departments to guarantee cost control
• Utilizing the full potential of the new AX Dynamics ERP system & CRM to assist with system related controls, processes and reporting.
• Ad Hoc projects
• Able to respond to internal client inquiries and maintain theaccounts receivablerecords

Desired Skill & Expertise

• Seeking a Charted Accounting qualification
• AR accounting experience of minimum 5 years
• Understand key accounting principles to recognize the main accounting elements accurately & effectively
• Confirmed Excel skills
• Real Estate – Property Development experience in GCC
• ERP experience, preferably Microsoft AX Dynamics & CRM
• Ensure consistent improvement as well as ensuring divergent thinking leading to novel ideas and solutions
• Collaboration and team player
• Meeting all deadlines, being flexible to complete all necessary & ad hoc tasks
