Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC is seeking a finance professional to assist in budgeting, management reporting, and accounts receivable reconciliation. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, Emiratization with Family Book, and 0–2 years in banking or insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Emiratization with Family Book is required.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in banking or insurance is acceptable.
• Living in Sharjah or Dubai.
• Ability to join immediately.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and agreed TAT.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of the accounts receivable ledger for Orient Head office to provide timely statements to clients.
• Reconcile AR statements of Orient Head office, branches, and chief agency with the general ledger to highlight variances.
• Assist Finance Manager in collecting data to prepare underwriting and financial reports for management decisions.
• Assist Finance Manager in compiling financial and statistical reports for submission to government departments.
• Review reports from branches to verify financial accuracy and assign accounting impact.
• Maintain and update accounts of insurance brokers to verify variances.
• Check premium registers for accuracy and identify variances for remedial actions.
