Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced Field Test & Integration Engineer to validate and deploy an autonomous ground robotics platform. You will lead test planning, execution, sensor calibration, and hardware/software integration across ROS1/ROS2 environments, ensuring safe field operations and robust reporting.

The role requires hands-on robotics expertise, strong documentation skills, and willingness to travel to remote field locations in support of real-world validation campaigns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in testing autonomous systems and robotics platforms
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience with launch configurations
• Experience with sensor calibration (intrinsic, extrinsic)
• Ability to travel to remote field locations
• Strong written communication for technical reports

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and field campaigns
• Lead systems integration and sensor/tool calibration
• Capture performance metrics and prepare technical reports
• Ensure safety and compliance during field operations
