Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai is seeking an experienced robotics software engineer to design, develop, and deploy autonomy software for aerial robotics, including navigation, mapping, and decision systems. You will write clean C++ and Python, integrate ROS and PX4/ArduPilot, test in field demonstrations, and collaborate with customers to understand mission needs and deliver robust flight solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Robotics/EE.
• 5+ years in robotics or autonomy software.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Familiar with ArduPilot/PX4 and aerial systems.
• Hands-on ROS experience.
• Expertise in sensor fusion, SLAM, localization, path planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy autonomy software for aerial robotics, including navigation, real-time mapping, and decision-making systems.
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code in C++ and Python.
• Implement algorithms for sensor processing, mapping, and real-time control.
• Integrate perception, motion planning and controls modules to field end-to-end aerial behaviors.
• Coordinate and execute field tests, demonstrations, and pilot programs in dynamic environments.
• Partner directly with customers and stakeholders to understand mission needs and gather feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in dynamic, real-world conditions.
