Job summary

NOV in Abu Dhabi is seeking a workshop technician to perform service repair and assembly, document service reports, and support quality and safety standards. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, awareness of workshop environments, and ability to work with overhead cranes and breakout machines.

Minimum 2 years' experience is preferred; strong English proficiency, practical problem-solving, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential for success in a fast-paced shop

• Perform service repair and assembly activities in line with standard service procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the team leader.

Qualifications & Experience Essential

Desirable

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in oilfield repair and maintenance shops.
• Advanced knowledge of overhead cranes and breakout machines.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role (considered an asset).
