Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT to lead onsite installation, maintenance, and planning of our products with global customers. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure safe and compliant installations, and continually grow your technical knowledge to deliver innovative solutions.

The role starts with an Initial Training Program and involves significant travel (up to 70%) to customer sites and offshore facilities, with flexible working patterns and strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Oversee, troubleshoot and commission rotating equipment at customer sites.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, and reports for customers and internal teams.
• Ensure training, compliance and quality documentation is updated according to company standards.
• Manage company digital tools to access technical documents and manage BOMs/drawings.

As a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers.

Leading the installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be the onsite expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions.

As a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT, you will start with an Initial Training Program and progress so you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of our rotating equipment’s and products at customer sites.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
• Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.

• Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
