Field Service Engineer - Jewellery Machinery (UAE)

Job summary

Qureos is seeking a motivated Electronics/Mechatronics technician to install, commission, diagnose, repair, and maintain jewellery machinery across customer sites in the UAE. Travel to customer sites and occasional abroad for supplier training will be required.

The role requires hands-on PCB repair, SMD soldering, and knowledge of power electronics, with validating PLCs and drive systems. UAE driving licence preferred and experience with jewellery machinery a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2-5 years experience servicing industrial machinery.
• Hands-on circuit-board repair and fine SMD soldering experience.
• Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and stepper/servo drives.
• Jewellery machinery experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
• UAE driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally abroad for supplier training.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission jewellery machinery.
• Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Train customers on machine operation.
• Troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components.
• Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Work with multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment.
• Coordinate with international suppliers technical teams for troubleshooting and support.
