Field Service Engineer – Jewellery Machinery (UAE)

Job summary

Qureos in the UAE is seeking a skilled field service engineer to install, commission and service jewellery machinery across Dubai, Sharjah, Northern Emirates and GCC regions. You will diagnose electronics faults, perform preventive maintenance and train customers on operation and safety procedures.

The role requires hands-on PCB repair, SMD soldering and the ability to read wiring diagrams, with occasional international supplier training and customer-site travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• 2-5 years' experience servicing industrial machinery.
• Hands-on circuit-board repair and fine SMD soldering experience.
• Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and stepper/servo drives.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission jewellery machinery.
• Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Train customers on machine operation.
• Troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components.
• Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Work with multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment.
• Coordinate with international suppliers' technical teams for troubleshooting and support.
