Job summary

Burj Line Builders in the UAE seeks a field service engineer to install, commission and service jewellery machinery across customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance and repairs, and train customers on operation while reading schematics and using diagnostic equipment.

The role requires hands-on PCB repair, SMD soldering, and knowledge of power electronics, PLCs, and drives, with travel across Dubai, Sharjah, Northern Emirates and GCC as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience servicing industrial machinery.
• Hands-on circuit-board repair and precise SMD soldering experience.
• Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and drives; UAE driving licence and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission jewellery machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Train customers on machine operation and safe use.
• Troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components.
• Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics; use meters and scopes.
• Coordinate with international suppliers' technical teams for support.
