Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Simulator Technician to maintain and support our state‑of‑the‑art simulators across naval and air domains in the UAE. The role is a floating resource, covering multiple CAE sites, with travel and surge work as business needs require.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure operational continuity. The position requires 2‑year technical training, 3+ years in simulators, and willingness to travel within the

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent training.
• At least 3 years of direct simulator experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple simulator types.
• Proficiency with test equipment and diagnostic instruments.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and pre/post training checks.
• Willingness to travel within UAE and abroad.
• Fluency in English; UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and related systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and related systems.
• Diagnose and correct routine issues on simulators across various configurations.
• Record maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
• Train technicians in basic skills and complete required training.
• Support logistics, parts handling, testing/validation, and housekeeping.
• Adapt to site procedures and CAE quality and safety standards across sites.
