Job summary

Solidify Technical Services LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Fiberglass Technician to fabricate, repair, and maintain fiberglass components using molds, resins, and hand lay-up methods. The role emphasizes safety, craftsmanship, and adherence to customer specifications.

The position requires supervising the complete process from mold preparation to part finishing, with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience with power tools in dusty environments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in fiberglass repair or manufacturing (marine, automotive, aerospace, etc.)
• Familiarity with hand lay-up, spray-up and vacuum bagging techniques
• Ability to work with power tools (grinders, sanders, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Physical ability to stand, bend and lift materials for extended periods
• Willingness to work in dusty, noisy and confined environments

Responsibilities

• Create fiberglass tooling (molds) to meet customer specifications
• Fabricate, repair and maintain fiberglass components and structures
• Prepare prototypes/plugs to meet surface quality and dimensional requirements
• Apply gel coat, fiberglass reinforcement, and structural materials
• Trim, sand, polish molds and parts; release cured products from molds
• Measure dimensions to verify conformity to specifications
• Maintain high safety and quality standards; communicate clearly
