Job summary

Etisalat by e& in Abu Dhabi is seeking highly skilled Fiber Optic Technicians to install eLife home internet, splice underground cables, and troubleshoot network connectivity across UAE residential zones.

You will perform field tasks such as drilling holes in villas, using OTDR to locate faults, setting up Wi-Fi routers, and driving the service van between appointments with GPS, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Steady hands and sharp eyesight required for fiber splicing.
• Ability to work outdoors in dusty streets and climb ladders in heat.
• Polite communication when entering residential homes.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes through villa walls to route main cables into living rooms.
• Operate OTDR to locate faults in street cables.
• Set up Wi‑Fi routers and decoder boxes, and train customers on usage.
