Job summary

The Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Fetal Medicine Consultant to provide expert care for women with high-risk pregnancies, performing advanced fetal assessments and prenatal diagnostics. You will work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists and radiologists to deliver evidence-based maternal-fetal care.

You will interpret fetal imaging, participate in specialized fetal procedures, develop personalised management plans, and counsel expectant parents.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• DHA Eligibility as Consultant (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
• Fellowship in Fetal Medicine or Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• 8–10 years of relevant Consultant-level experience.
• Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal diagnostics.
• Experience in advanced fetal imaging and specialised fetal procedures.
• Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based maternal and fetal healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal-fetal conditions
• Perform advanced fetal ultrasound and prenatal diagnostic assessments
• Interpret fetal imaging and genetic screening results
• Carry out specialised fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures where appropriate

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with DHA regulations
