Job summary

Onepoint Consultants in Dubai is seeking a technically minded candidate to understand client requirements, study drawings, and propose suitable fencing solutions. You will prepare precise estimates and develop fencing specifications, along with techno-commercial proposals for client submissions.

The role also involves creating product drawings, reviewing contracts and PO discrepancies, and coordinating with sales to time quotations.

Qualifications

• Understanding engineering drawings.
• Basic mathematical understanding for manual calculations.
• Strong command on MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Basic AutoCAD drafting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Understanding client requirement by communicating with them / visiting Site/ studying their drawings and proposing adequate fencing solutions.
• Preparing precise & correct fencing/ product estimates based upon the client requirements.
• Preparing fencing specifications for the product being proposed and preparation of techno commercial proposal.
• Preparation on of fence systems / products drawings to be submitted along with the techno commercial offer to the client.
• Checking the contracts and Purchase Orders received from the client and figuring out discrepancies between the agreed terms and order received.
• Maintaining proper communication on with the client and getting the approvals on drawings / Bill of Quantities proposed before processing the order for production.
• Issuing Production Requests to Production Team. This includes preparing on of Bill of Quantities & Preparing / checking fabrication drawings prepared by AutoCAD Draughtsman.
• Registering for various Contractors / Contractors / Clients / Consultant on their websites / vendor registration portals
• Preparing products presentations, method statements, brochures other literature for product marketing.
• Preparing technical submittals for submission to the clients.
• Keeping proper communication with Sales manager / Sales Executives to understand the priority in which quotations to be sent to the client
• Recording and maintaining data in various excel sheets for quotations sent, production & sample requests issued.
