Job summary

Alhamra, a luxury equestrian brand, in Dubai, seeks a Product Developer to lead transforming designs into world-class products and to build the product development function from the ground up. Lead design handover through to production approval with Design, Production, Sourcing, and offshore partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development within fashion, luxury, apparel, or accessories brands.
• Expertise in garment construction, pattern-making, grading, and fitting.
• Experience creating professional Tech Packs and coordinating with overseas manufacturers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; high quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of garments and soft accessories from concept to production.
• Create Tech Packs, specifications, BOMs, and other technical documentation.
• Manage sample development, fittings, revisions, and production approvals.
• Collaborate with overseas factories to ensure quality and on-time production.
• Source and evaluate fabrics, trims, components with premium standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Production, Operations, and suppliers to bring collections to market.
• Continuously improve product development processes and technical standards.

Alhamra is looking for an exceptional Product Developer to join our growing luxury equestrian brand and lead the transformation of our designs into world-class products. This is a unique opportunity to build the product development function from the ground up. Working closely with Design, Production, Sourcing, and international manufacturing partners, you will oversee the entire product development process—from design handover through to production approval—ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, fit, and performance. As the company grows, this role has the opportunity to evolve into Head of Product Development, building and leading your own team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of garments and soft accessories from concept to production.
• Create professional Tech Packs, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Manage sample development, fittings, technical revisions, and production approvals.
• Work closely with overseas factories to ensure quality, timelines, and manufacturing excellence.
• Source and evaluate fabrics, trims, and components while maintaining premium quality standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Production, Operations, and suppliers to successfully bring collections to market.
• Continuously improve product development processes and technical standards.
