Job summary

Wasael Property Management in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to support on-site operations, resolve complex technical issues, and assist Facilities Managers to meet budgets and deliver high-quality service to clients.

You will oversee HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping and Mechanical systems, refine processes for efficiency, and coordinate with contractors to maintain standards and reporting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required; CFM preferred.
• UAE Driver’s License required or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience in facility management/engineering supervisory roles.
• Experience with client management and budgeting in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility for technical and commercial success of projects as agreed with management.
• Perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping and Mechanical systems.
• Understand maintenance schedules and process flows for assigned facilities.
• Refine processes to improve service delivery efficiency.
• Prepare equipment/asset specifications for new facilities.
• Develop management controls to reduce costs for projects.
• Design facility-specific control systems to ensure quality standards.
• Evaluate contractor performance and draft improvement plans.
• Respond to emergencies or client requests and report to Facilities Manager.
• Manage in-house teams for HVAC, Electrical, Hydraulics, and related installations.

Job description

Job PurposeTo assist in the smooth running of the facilities by resolving complex technical issues to ensure highest quality of service delivery to clients and providing support to Facilities Managers to meet budgets, efficient client reporting and managing the team on site.

Job Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility for the technical and commercial success for individual projects and/or a group of projects as agreed with management
• Perform Complex Preventive and corrective maintenance on the assigned sites for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping and Mechanical
• Understand the maintenance schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information about the process of the facilities assigned.
• Use this knowledge of the methods and activities to determine ways that processes can be refined to make the delivery of services more efficient.
• Prepare equipment / asset specifications for new facilities
• Determine what particular needs the project has and develop management controls systems that will reduce costs
• Design facility-specific control systems that coordinate activities to ensure that all products meet set quality standards.
• Evaluate and report the performance and development of the contractors/suppliers to improve the level of service and highlight areas of improvements. Draft an improvement plan and follow up on steps taken by them.
• Respond appropriately to any emergencies or request raised by Clients and present a roll out to the Facilities Manager.
• Manage all the in house teams related to technical installations such as HVAC, Electrical Systems, Hydraulics, etc.

Job Requirements

Qualification: Engineering degree. CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) will be preferred.

UAE Driver’s License

Work Experience: 7 years of experience in a facility management / engineering supervisory role where client management was a key aspect of the job, and exposure to budgetary and service delivery’s full requirement.
