Job summary

Accor's Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a skilled General Technician to maintain and optimize our facility's operations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff.

You will perform routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and kitchen equipment; troubleshoot issues, install and calibrate systems, and uphold safety standards with a proactive, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Experience performing routine maintenance tasks and inspections.
Familiarity with safety regulations governing facility operations.
Ability to install, configure, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specs.
Excellent problem-solving and clear communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management.
Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent; certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and kitchen equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Assist in installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and implement safety measures to comply with regulations.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests under pressure.
Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all systems.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Provide technical guidance and training on equipment operation.
Interact professionally with guests when responding to maintenance requests.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
