Job summary

Q Express Documents Transport LLC - Dubai South Branch is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain and optimize technologies in the Amazon warehouse and delivery network. The role focuses on safety, preventative maintenance, and maximizing equipment availability across the facility.

The position involves working within non-traditional shift patterns, potentially including nights and weekends, to support continuous operations at the Dubai site.

Qualifications

• Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) and conveyor systems.
• Minimum of 2 years in refrigeration industry.
• Experience with electrical and automation systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with security or firewall concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Put health & safety first and comply with standards and regulations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, communicate with affected teams, and fix issues quickly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback to line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends

Key job responsibilities

• Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
• Management of contractors.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on material handling equipment (MHE) and automated conveyor systems
• 2+ years of refrigeration industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in electrical engineering field
• Experience in warehouse operations
• Experience with automation and any version control tools, or experience in managing firewalls and experience in web security
• Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical degree field
• Experience of print and apply machines.
