Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking an Executive – Facilities Management in the United Arab Emirates to coordinate and oversee the maintenance and operation of office buildings, warehouses, and related facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property operations, or workplace services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations and maintenance of office buildings, commercial premises, warehouses, and other assigned facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, common areas, meeting rooms, washrooms, parking areas, and utility rooms.
• Identify maintenance issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize disruption to business operations.
• Monitor the condition and functionality of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved schedules.
• Maintain a log of maintenance requests, breakdowns, complaints, and completed work orders.
• Follow up with technicians and contractors to ensure that maintenance work is completed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure that facilities are operational, well-maintained, and suitable for employees, visitors, and customers.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and arrange appropriate technical support when required.
