Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer in the UAE to support daily operations, maintenance, and technical management of facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency across buildings and MEP systems.

The role requires handling preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring HSE compliance. Immediate joining is preferred, with vacancies in Al Ain and Dubai and a temporary 6-month renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or MEP operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building systems.
• Must have own visa and be available to join immediately.
• Willing to work in Al Ain or Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations and maintenance activities.
• Monitor MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire/life safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance or safety issues.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and regulations.
• Prepare maintenance, inspection and technical reports.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, assets and work orders.
• Support emergency maintenance and urgent facility requests.
• Assist with minor facility improvements and refurbishment works.
