Job summary

UNCO Oil, an independent exploration and production company, seeks a Facilities Engineer to design and steward surface systems from development concepts through FEED, project execution, and operating-plant support for oil, gas and water handling.

You will size equipment, run process simulations, debottleneck facilities and ensure safety, reliability and efficiency, with EPC and contractor oversight and a focus on scalable asset performance.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Facilities Engineer at UNCO OIL, you design and steward the surface systems that turn production into sales. You own process and facilities engineering across the asset lifecycle — from development concepts and FEED through project execution and operating‑plant support — for oil, gas and water handling, treatment and export. As the operator’s technical authority, you size equipment, run process simulations, debottleneck operating facilities and review the deliverables of EPC and engineering contractors. Process safety and integrity sit at the core of everything you sign off. This role ensures our production is handled safely, reliably and efficiently, and that our facilities scale with the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop process and facilities designs for oil, gas and water handling (separation, treatment, export).
• Perform process simulation, material/energy balances and equipment sizing.
• Support field‑development concepts, FEED and project execution as the operator’s technical authority.
• Debottleneck and optimize operating facilities and manage brownfield modifications.
• Manage EPC and engineering contractors and review their deliverables.
• Ensure designs meet process‑safety, HSE and integrity standards.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical / Process / Facilities Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of oil & gas facilities / process engineering experience.
• Proficiency with process simulation (HYSYS / Aspen).
• Knowledge of process safety and relevant codes/standards.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Field‑development / FEED and project‑execution experience.
• Brownfield operations support experience.
• Gas‑processing or EOR facilities exposure.
