Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to Facility Supervisors.
• Support the development of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for Fulfilment Centre assets.
• Work with material handling and automation systems used within the facility.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, control, and mechanical systems.
• Work with relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, and electronic sensors.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting involving servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, and sortation equipment.
• Work with mechanical components including rolls, bearings, and belts.
• Support both reactive and proactive maintenance of operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Promote safe working practices and act as a safety ambassador within the team.
• Help manage day-to-day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and upkeep of the premises.
• Support employee health and safety requirements and statutory compliance within the Fulfilment Centre.
• Assist with waste and hazardous waste management in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Support the timely renewal of required licences.

Internship Experience

The internship runs for 3 to 6 months on a full-time basis. Each intern will be matched with a mentor and given opportunities to contribute to an impactful project, interact with Amazonians, expand their professional network, and participate in activities with other interns. Depending on location, country, job status, and other applicable requirements, internship opportunities may include competitive pay, project deliverables, networking opportunities, speaker series, intern panels, Leadership Principles sessions, Amazon writing skills sessions, mentorship, and career development. Successful interns may be considered for a graduate role after completing their university studies.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or expected to receive, a Bachelor 's or Master 's degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Available to commence an internship between January and December 2027.
• Available for 3 to 6 months on a full-time basis of 40 hours per week.
