Job summary

AESG is currently recruiting a Facade Structural Engineer to join our cost management team for a project in Dubai. The engineer will support the project leader to deliver high-quality service and reinforce AESG’s reputation as a preferred service provider.

Role requires managing technical and commercial aspects, supervising construction, and guiding junior team members through detailed design and on-site activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or equivalent.
• Required minimum experience 3-5 years.
• Preferred façade design and engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues - at detail design and construction stage and remedial of existing projects.
• Conduct Façade diagnosis inspections and reporting.
• Conduct factory and site inspections and reporting, including testing and visual performance mock-ups.
• Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients.
• Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide line management.
• Updating existing construction check list templates.
• Keeping up to date with the facade market/standards/code of practice.
• Development of research publications.
