Job summary

AESG is recruiting a Facade Structural Engineer to join our cost management team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high-standard service, supporting the project leader, and strengthening client relationships.

You will independently manage complex facade projects through design and construction stages, conduct inspections, lead junior staff, and contribute to updates of checklists and research publications to keep pace with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or equivalent.
• Required minimum experience 3-5 years.
• Preferred façade design and engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues- at detail design and construction stage and remedial of existing projects.
• Conduct Façade diagnosis inspections and reporting.
• Conduct factory and site inspections and reporting, including testing and visual performance mock-ups.
• Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients.
• Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide line management.
• Updating existing construction check list templates.
• Keeping up to date with the facade market/standards/code of practice.
• Development of research publications.
