Job summary

AESG, Dubai-based, is seeking a Facade Structural Engineer to join our cost management team on a Dubai project. You will support the project leader to deliver high-quality service and reinforce AESG’s reputation as a leading service provider.

Responsibilities include managing complex facade projects, conducting diagnosis inspections, and supervising factory and site testing, with leadership for junior team members and continuous market knowledge updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or equivalent.
• Required minimum experience 3-5 years.
• Preferred façade design and engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues - at detail design and construction stage and remedial of existing projects.
• Conduct façade diagnosis inspections and reporting.
• Conduct factory and site inspections and reporting, including testing and visual performance mock-ups.
• Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients.
• Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide line management.
• Updating existing construction check list templates.
• Keeping up to date with the façade market/standards/code of practice.
• Development of research publications.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or equivalent
