Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai is seeking a Façade Project Lead to drive technical site execution of façade packages from commencement through handover. You will coordinate cross-discipline teams and ensure compliance with project specs.

You will review IFC, shop and architectural drawings, manage ACP, curtain wall, glazing, louvers, and related metal works, and monitor QA/QC to meet deadlines while safeguarding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of façade engineering experience, UAE/GCC preferred.
• Proven ability to read shop, IFC, architectural, and structural drawings.

Job description

• Lead the technical and site execution of façade projects from commencement through completion and handover.

• Review and coordinate IFC drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings, architectural drawings, specifications, and façade details.

• Manage façade works including ACP cladding, aluminium cladding, curtain wall, glazing, louvers, aluminium doors/windows, metal works, and associated steel structures.

• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.

• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and other project documentation.

• Provide technical solutions for site issues, clashes, dimensional discrepancies, access problems, and installation constraints.

• Monitor fabrication, material procurement, delivery, installation, and site progress.

• Ensure correct levels, dimensions, alignment, tolerances, brackets, anchors, fixing systems, joints, sealants, and finishing.

• Supervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and installation teams.

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of façade activities.

• Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams to ensure materials are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications.

• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.

• Identify defective or non-conforming works and ensure timely rectification.

• Coordinate snagging, final inspections, testing, commissioning where applicable, and project handover.

• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Monitor material quantities, wastage, productivity, manpower, and installation output.

• Assist in variation claims, quantity measurements, BOQ verification, and additional works.

• Attend technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.

• Take responsibility for resolving technical and execution issues and maintaining project progress.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in façade engineering, preferably with UAE/GCC project experience.

• Strong experience in ACP, aluminium façade, curtain wall, glazing, louvers, aluminium works, and steel support structures.

• Proven experience managing façade projects and site installation teams.

• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings, IFC drawings, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and technical specifications.

• Good knowledge of façade installation systems, brackets, anchors, sealants, insulation, waterproofing, and finishing.

• Strong knowledge of MIR, WIR, RFI, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.

• Strong project coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.

• Valid UAE driving license is preferred/required.

• UAE/GCC façade project experience is highly preferred.
