Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading UAE contracting company to recruit a Project Engineer Façade for large-scale high-rise projects. The role supports façade engineering coordination, shop drawing review, material submittals, site execution and quality compliance to ensure seamless delivery of curtain wall and cladding systems.

Responsibilities include reviewing façade drawings, coordinating between design teams and subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to BIM

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree / BE in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience: Several years in contracting, with mandatory experience in high-rise façade works (curtain wall, cladding, glazing or stick systems).
• Core competencies: Strong technical coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review façade shop drawings, section details and anchor point layouts for compliance with design and project specifications.
• Prepare and track material submittals, approvals and procurement schedules for façade components.
• Coordinate between design teams, consultants, site teams and façade subcontractors to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Ensure site installation aligns with approved BIM models and structural interfaces.
• Monitor daily façade installation progress and report discrepancies to senior management.
• Conduct quality checks on materials, mock-ups, water penetration testing and sealant applications.
• Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments and ITPs for façade works.
• Track material deliveries, storage conditions and handling procedures to prevent damage or delays.
• Maintain site records, daily progress reports and as-built façade documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve site-level issues.

The ideal candidate will support façade engineering coordination shop drawing review material submittals site execution and quality compliance to ensure seamless delivery of curtain wall and cladding system

Responsibilities

• Review façade shop drawings section details and anchor point layouts for compliance with design and project specifications.
• Prepare and track material submittals approvals and procurement schedules for façade components (glass aluminium gaskets sealants anchors).
• Coordinate between design teams consultants site teams and façade subcontractors to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Ensure site installation aligns with approved Revit/BIM models structural interfaces and MEP penetrations.
• Monitor daily façade installation progress and report discrepancies to senior management.
• Conduct quality checks on delivered materials mock-up panels water penetration testing and sealant applications.
• Assist in preparing method statements risk assessments and inspection test plans (ITPs) for façade works.
• Track material deliveries storage conditions and handling procedures to prevent damage or delays.
• Maintain site records daily progress reports and as-built façade documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients consultants and subcontractors to resolve site-level issues.
