Job summary

Jazal Engineering & Contracting LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project Engineer to lead the technical execution, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of façade lighting and lighting-control systems.

You will supervise installation, read lighting layouts and wiring diagrams, configure DMX controllers, work with Traxon fixtures, perform testing and commissioning, and prepare detailed maintenance reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience on façade/architectural lighting projects.
Experience with DMX lighting control systems.
Knowledge of Traxon lighting systems and related fixtures and controls.

Responsibilities

Supervise installation of architectural and façade lighting systems.
Read lighting layouts, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Install and configure DMX controllers, decoders, gateways, power supplies, data networks, and lighting fixtures.
Perform DMX addressing, patching, signal testing, and system configuration.
Work with Traxon lighting systems and other manufacturers' fixtures and control solutions.
Troubleshoot DMX, Art-Net/SACN issues, and fixture/addressing problems; diagnose failures and provide solutions.
Perform testing, commissioning, programming support, and system calibration.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
Provide emergency technical response for critical façade lighting failures.
Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports and maintenance records.
