Job summary

The Talents Pipeline - Leading Talents Acquisition Service Provider in Dubai is seeking a Lighting Commissioning Engineer to join our automation and lighting team. You will commission lighting control systems, GRMS, and home automation at client sites, from initial assessments to full deployment and ongoing maintenance.

This hands-on role requires a strong technical background, collaboration with project managers, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering required.
• Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in the lighting industry, specifically with lighting control systems or automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) for reviewing and creating technical drawings.
• Valid UAE Driving License (must have).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently at client sites.
• Nice to have: Experience with GRMS platforms or home automation systems.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards for commercial lighting installations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-commissioning site visits to assess installation readiness and identify challenges.
• Execute complete commissioning and programming of lighting control systems, GRMS, and home automation platforms to client specifications.
• Perform installation and configuration of lighting control hardware and software, ensuring systems meet design requirements and industry standards.
• Carry out scheduled and emergency maintenance visits to customer sites, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
• Complete detailed technical documentation, commissioning reports, and maintenance records for all projects and service calls.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction throughout the commissioning process.
