Job summary

Talent Asia Consulting is seeking a skilled Fabrication and Scaffolding Specialist in the UAE. You will execute FRP and mechanical fabrication activities for cooling tower erection, supervise scaffolding operations, and ensure safe access, fit-up, and installation.

Read drawings, coordinate with teams, and inspect works for quality and compliance. Applicants should have 5+ years of relevant experience, with FRP piping or industrial construction exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of fabrication and/or scaffolding experience.
• Experience in FRP piping, cooling tower erection or industrial construction is preferred.
• Relevant trade certificates and scaffolding certifications as applicable.
• Good understanding of site safety and working-at-height requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute FRP and mechanical fabrication activities for cooling tower erection.
• Supervise scaffolding erection, modification and dismantling with safe access and guardrails.
• Read fabrication drawings and ensure accurate fit-up, alignment and installation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, rigging and construction teams for timely completion.
• Inspect fabrication and scaffolding works for quality, safety and compliance.
• Manage manpower, tools and materials while maintaining HSE standards.
• Maintain daily progress and coordinate with Supervisor/Management on site requirements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute FRP and mechanical fabrication activities, including FRP pipe cutting, fitting, jointing, alignment, structural supports, frames and associated components for cooling tower erection.
• Supervise and execute scaffolding erection, modification and dismantling, ensuring safe access, proper platforms, bracing, guardrails and support for construction activities.
• Read and work from fabrication drawings, measurements and site requirements, ensuring accurate fabrication, fit-up, alignment and installation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, rigging and construction teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of work.
• Inspect completed fabrication and scaffolding works to ensure quality, safety and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage manpower, tools and materials while maintaining HSE, work-at-height and site safety requirements.
• Maintain daily work progress and coordinate with the Supervisor/Project Management team regarding work fronts and site requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in fabrication and/or scaffolding works.
• Previous experience in FRP piping, cooling tower erection or industrial construction projects preferred.
• Relevant trade certificates and scaffolding certifications as applicable.
• Good understanding of site safety and working-at-height requirements.
• UAE/GCC onshore experience and immediate availability preferred.
