Job summary

You will coordinate with kitchen and bar, maintain cleanliness, handle POS transactions, and uphold Health and Safety policies, contributing to a positive guest experience with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/F&B is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a Service Attendant role in a 3-star or above hotel.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interact and communicate with guests and colleagues in a courteous, friendly and clear manner.
• Take, prepare and serve guest orders with accuracy while promoting and up-selling all products.
• Liaise with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service and guest age compliance for alcohol.
• Clear and clean tables promptly and professionally when guests finish their meals.
• Maintain stock, handle POS transactions, and keep the outlet clean at all times.
• Follow Health and Safety policies and train new team members.

Job description

Service Attendant is a support role which ensures smooth running of the restaurant by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest comfort is guaranteed at all times. A high degree of product knowledge is necessary in order to recommend confidently and up-sell the various products on offer.

Your day-to-day work:

• Welcome, interact and communicate with guests & colleagues in a courteous, friendly and clear manner
• Take, prepare and serve guest orders with accuracy while promoting and up selling all products, focuses on maximizing sales in order to drive sales and meet outlets targets
• Liaise with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service while ensuring the guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Clear and clean tables as soon as it is apparent that guests have finished their meals professionally
• Maintain stock, accurately handle point-of –sale transactions, maintain cleanliness of outlet always
• Ensure that company Health and Safety policies are followed and adhered to, train all new team members

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Ideally your background will be from the hotel/F&B industry, and worked as a Service Attendant for a minimum of 1 year in a 3-star or above category hotel.
• Fluent English is a must and other languages would be an advantage.
