Job summary

palazzoversacedubai is seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to support luxury events in our Dubai venue. You will set up banquet spaces, provide attentive food and beverage service, and ensure impeccable presentation throughout banquets, meetings, and weddings.

You will maintain menu knowledge, respond to guest requests with a smile, and help with clearing and resetting areas after events. Fluency in English is required, additional languages are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Server or similar role in luxury hospitality.
• Knowledge of banquet and event service standards and procedures.
• Excellent guest communication and service orientation.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and hospitality passion.
• Allergen awareness and basic food safety knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare banquet venues, tables, chairs, buffet areas, and service stations according to event requirements and hotel standards.

• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service throughout banquets, meetings, weddings, and other events.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to the established sequence of service and event requirements.

• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, beverages, event details, and service procedures.

• Ensure tables, service areas, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and properly presented throughout the event.

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, enquiries, and special requirements.

• Assist with clearing, resetting, and closing banquet areas after events while ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Banquet Server, or similar role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of banquet and event service standards and procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong guest-focused approach.

• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for hospitality.

• Good knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic food safety and allergen awareness.

• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours depending on event requirements.
