Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Dubai seeks a Financial Controller to oversee financial control for TFG Restaurant Management LLC and support F&B operations across units. The role ensures accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and UAE regulatory compliance.

You will partner with hotel Finance Leaders, manage month-end close, cash flow, and budgeting, and provide detailed financial analysis to drive profitability and efficiency across the business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Relevant UAE accounting and taxation knowledge.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience with ERP/accounting systems, including SunSystems, and financial reporting tools.
• Experience with POS, inventory, procurement and hospitality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee accounting entries for F&B operations and intercompany transactions.
• Manage revenue, cash, inventory, cost of sales and expenses.
• Coordinate UAE tax compliance including VAT.
• Provide financial leadership to restaurant management teams.
• Develop KPIs and provide management with actionable insights.
