Job summary

The Meydan Hotel in Dubai is seeking a skilled F&B Cost Controller to manage cost control, inventory, and financial reporting for our high-end hospitality operation.

You will oversee the receiving and store processes, produce cost analyses, and support decision making with P&L insights for major events and Brunches. This role requires UAE hospitality experience and strong analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce or accounting.
• 2 years in a similar position in a five-star hotel.
• Computer competency with word-processing, spreadsheets and database software.
• Relevant experience in Store and Receiving in UAE hospitality.
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial systems.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculates F&B costs and compares invoices, requisitions, and sales; prepares cost reports.
• Verifies Receiving Reports and codes corrections.
• Daily transfer of Sales from POS to Inventory System.
• Monitors inventory, performs spot checks, and develops cost/price analyses.
• Prepares recipe costs with senior staff and monitors variances.
• Produces monthly F&B costs by outlet and conducts stock takes.
• Contributes to P&L preparation for major events and campaigns.
