InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly F&B Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. You will warmly welcome guests, take accurate orders, and deliver meals and drinks with professionalism while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage service role, preferably within a hotel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and assisting them with seating and dining requirements.
• Taking orders accurately and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Providing information about menus, ingredients, promotions and dining options.
• Setting up tables, service areas and equipment according to standards.
• Keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and escalating as needed.
• Coordinating with kitchen, bar and other F&B colleagues for smooth service.
• Following health & safety and responsible service procedures.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties.
• Supporting events and other F&B operations as required.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Welcoming guests warmly and assisting them with seating and dining requirements.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and ensuring they are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
• Providing guests with information about menus, ingredients, promotions, and available dining options.
• Setting up and maintaining tables, service areas, and restaurant equipment according to established standards.
• Ensuring the restaurant and service areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests to create a seamless dining experience.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and escalating concerns to the appropriate supervisor when required.
• Coordinating closely with the kitchen, bar, and other Food & Beverage colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and responsible service procedures.
• Supporting restaurant opening and closing duties as required.
• Assisting with special events, functions, and other Food & Beverage operations when needed.
• Demonstrating our IHG values through your interactions with guests and colleagues every day.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage service role, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
